அபகீர்த்தி, s. Infamy, disgrace, dishonor, disrepute, கனவீனம். Wils. p. 42. APAKIRTI. அபகீர்த்திபெற்றவன். One who is dis honored.

அபசாரம், s. Incivility, disrespect, affront, irreverence, impropriety, உபசார மின்மை. 2. Non-conformity to the Shas ters, wrong conduct, misbehavior, குற் றம்; [ex சர, to move, go.] Wils. p. 42. APACHARA. உபசாரஞ்செய்தவர்க்கபசாரம்பண்ணுகிறது. To return civility with incivility. உமக்கென்னாலென்ன அபசாரம்வந்தது? What injury have I done you? or what re proach have I brought upon you?

அபசாரி, s. An impolite man, one who deviates from the Shasters, a bad man, மரியாதையில்லான். Wils. p. 42. APACHARIN.

அபச்சாயை--அவச்சாயை, s. A shadowless being, as a deity or celestial being, சாயையற்றது. 2. An unlucky sha dow, ஓர்மரணக்குறி. 3. Deduction accord ing to the time of the year from the length of the person's shadow, cast by the sun or moon, in calculating the hour of the day or night, தள்ளுபடிநிழல்; [ex சாயா, shadow.] (p.)
