அர்ச்சி

arccis   * n. arcis. Name ofthe deity met with first on the way to thesupreme heaven, who leads on to the next, andwho presides over light; மோக்ஷத்திற்குச் செல்வோரை முதலிற்கண்டு உபசரித்து வழிநடத்துந் தெய்வம் (அஷ்டாதச. அர்ச்சி )  

arcci   அருச்சி, VI. v. t. worship, consecrate with offerings, பூசி; 2. venerate, வணங்கு; 3. hallow, பரிசுத்த மாக்கு.

அர்ச்சிதன், one who is worshipped.
