அலரி

s. Sweet scented Oleander, Nerium odorum, L. It is deemed sacred, and is generally planted about the tem ples and tanks; the flowers being used in daily oblation to the deities; its root is poisonous, கரவீரம். (c.) 2. (p.) Streaks or lines in the white of the eye, கண்வரி. 3. A flower in general, பூப்பொது. 4. The sun, சூரியன். 5. Beauty, அழகு. 6. A bee, தேனீ. 7. Vapor, steam, நீராவி.
