ஈசானம்

īcāṉam   * n. īšāna. 1. One ofthe five faces of Šiva represented as beingdirected upward, one of civaṉ-ai-m-mukam,q.v.; சிவனைம்முகத்தொன்று. (சிவதரு. பரிகா. 89.)2. A Šaiva mantra; ஒரு சைவமந்திரம். 3. TheNE. quarter being the region which is underthe guardianship of Īšāna, who is Šiva in oneof his aspects; வடகீழ்த்திசை  

īcāṉam   ஈசானியம், s. the north-east corner, வடகீழ்த்திசை; 2. one of the 5 faces of Siva, the other faces being சத்தியோஜாதம், வாமதேவம், அகோரம், & தத்புருஷம்.
