குறுணி

kuṟuṇi   s. A nominal dry-measure, in quantity equal to the மரக்கால். பானையிலே பதக்கு நெல்லிருந்தால் மூலையிலே முக் குறுணித்தெய்வங்கூத்தாடும். If there be in a pot two குறுணி of paddy, three குறுணி of gods will be dancing in the corners of the house, said of those who spend at once what they have, in the temples, &c., and afterwards suffer want.
