சிரசு

s. The head, தலை. 2. (fig.) Principal, chief, தலைமை. W. p. 844. S'IRAS. உன்பாதமென்சிரசின்மேல். I am your most humble servant, (lit.) your foot upon my head. எண்சாணுடம்புக்குஞ் சிரசே பிரதானம். The head (though comparatively small) is the chief member of the whole body, eight span long.

சிரசாக்கினை, s. Decapitation, beheading.

சிரசாக்கினைபண்ண, inf. To behead, to decapitate.

சிரசாவகிக்க, inf. To obey humbly, sub missively, implicitly, (lit.) to put upon the head. (R.)

சிரசுதயம்--சிரோதயம், s. The ap pearance of the head in a natural presentation, as the moment to be taken for casting a nativity. 2. [in midwifery.] Presentation of the head. (p.)
