சில்லறை

s. (Tel. சில்லர.) Things scat tered here and there in small quantities, little and little; sundries distributed in di verse places, quantities, amounts, &c.; out standings, சிதறியவை. 2. Articles retailed, சில்லறைச்சரக்கு. 3. Remainder, overplus, balance, மீதி. 4. Fractional quantities--as பத்தேசில்லறைரூபாய், ten Rupees and odd, சில் வானம். 5. Trouble from thieves, திருடருபத்தி ரவம். 6. Deaths from malignant diseases, சாவு. 7. Women's small ear-rings, &c., ஓர்வகைக்காதணிகள். 8. Insignificant matters; unimportant, trifling, annoying, trouble some business; trifles, அற்பமானவை. 9. Un settled affairs, தீர்க்கப்படாதவை. (c.)

சில்லறைச்செலவு, s. Expenses in small items.

சில்லறைதீர்க்க, s. To settle out-stand ings, in accounts, &c.
