சுழல்

cuẕl  

v. noun. An eddy, whirlpool, whirl wind, &c., சுழிநீர்முதலியன. 2. A machine on an axle turned by the wind, a wind mill, a whirl-gig, காற்றாடி. 3. A whirling weapon, வளைதடி. 4. (fig.) Deception, fraud, வஞ்சனை; [ex சுழலு.] அதிலொருசுழலிருக்கிறது. In that place is a whirlpool.

சுழலன், s. (fem. சுழலி.) A cheat, an impostor, a tempter, சூதன்.

சுழலிலேயகப்பட, inf. To be caught in a whirlwind or whirlpool.
