துடித்தல்

neñcu-tuṭittal   n. id.+. 1. Throbbing of the heart; இதயந்துடிக்கை.2. Sympathising with one in affliction; அனுதாபப்படுகை.

நெஞ்சுநெஞ்சென்றுகுத்து-தல் neñ-cu-neñceṉṟu-kuttu-, v. intr. id. +. To strikethe breast repeatedly with the tips of thefingers, in bewailing the dead; இழவுகொண்டாடும்போது விரல்நுனிகளால் மார்பிற் குத்திக்கொள்ளுதல். (W.)
