தெள்

adj. Clear, தெளிவான. (p.) [in combin, changing ன் to ண்.] See தெண்மை.

தெண்டிரை, s. The clear sea.

--தெள்ளு, கிறேன், தெள்ளினே ன், தெள்ளுவேன், தெள்ள, v. n. To sift softly in a winnowing fan, புடைக்க. 2. To heave up sand, &c., as the sea, cast upon the shore, கொழிக்க. (c.) 3. v. n. To become clear, lucid, pure, refined, as language, தெ ளிய. 4. To be mature in knowledge or experience, அனுபவப்பட.
