நசி

கிறேன், ந்தேன், வேன், ய, v. n. To be crushed, bruised, mashed; to be broken, as a boil; frayed, as cloth deprived of smoothness or lustre; to be crumpled, as paper, &c., நசுங்க. 2. To be destroyed, அழிய. 3. To be palliated, extenuated, குறைவுகாண. 4. To be kept back, to be spoken indistinctly or with hesitation, திக்க. 5. To be frayed, to be almost worn through, as cloth, தேய. 6. To be reduced in circumstances, செல்வஞ்சுருங்க. (c.) [ex Sa. Nasa. to perish decay, &c.]

நசிந்தபுடவை, s. A worn cloth.

நசிந்துகொடுக்க, inf. [prov.] To yield, as a boil or fruit, to the touch. 2. to yield to one, to concede. (c.)

க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. n. To perish, to be destroyed, annihilated, consumed, சாக. 2. To be reduced, as a body, to its primitive elements, உருவழிய.

நசிப்பு, v. noun. Perishing, involution, &c., as the verb.

க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. [prov.] To crush, bruise, mash, to crumple, அசைக்க. 2. To demolish, destroy, consume, அழிக்க. 3. To squeeze, to press, கசக்க. 4. To make light of, treat as a small matter, தணிக்க. 5. To suppress, conceal, to connive at, &c.; to keep back, to speak with hesitation, அடக்க. காரியத்தைநசித்துப்போட்டான். He has treated it as a little matter.

நசிப்பு, v. noun. Crushing, bruising, mashing, நெரிவு.

நசிவு, v. noun. Bruise, contusion, நெ றிவு. 2. Perished, injured, கெடுகை. 3. Reproach, disparagement, நிந்தை.

நசிவானஎழுத்து, s. Ill-proportioned, ill-formed or indistinct letters, in writing. 2. A writing in equivocal terms.

நசிவானபுடவை, s. Damaged cloth.

நசிவுகாண, inf. To be injured or bruised, as ripe fruit. 2. To be shy or discordant as friends. 3. To be in risk, as one's office.
