நயனம்

நயனகஸ்தூரி, s. A medicine for the eye. வார்த்தையிலேநயனகஸ்தீரியாயிருக்கிறான். His words are like medicine for the eyes; i. e. pleasent and refreshing.

நயனகாசம், s. A film ever the eye.

நயனசைகை, s. Alluring by the eyes.

நயனதீட்சை, s. Occular illumination of an advanced disciple, by the guru, or deity. See தீட்சை.

நயனபாஷை, s. Language of the eyes, கண்பயில்.

நயனப்பார்வை, s. An amorous look. 2. Sight.

நயனப்பத்து, s. A poem in praise of the eyes of a lady, in ten verses, ஓர் பிரபந்தம்.

நயனரோகம்--நயனவியாதி, s. Disease of the eye.

நயனவிதி, s. The science that treats on diseases of the eye, their remedies, &c., கண்வைத்தியம்.

நயனவிதியெண்ணெய், s. [prov.] Oil with various ingredients for anointing the head before bathing; deemed good for the eyes.

நயனவீடு, s. Communicating sight to an idol, by prescribed rites with sacred fire, விக்கிரகத்துக்குக்கண்திறத்தல்.
