பத்திராசனம்

pattirācaṉam

n. bhadra+ āsana. 1. A yōgic posture which consistsin placing the heels on either side ofthe seam of the perineum, the left on theleft side and the right on the right side andholding the feet firmly joined to one anotherwith both the hands, one of nine ācaṉam, q. v.;பீசத்தின்கீழ் இருகுதிகால்களையும் மாறாது வைத்துகைகளால் அக்கால்களை இறுகப்பிடித்து அசையாதிருக்கும் ஆசனபேதம். (தத்துவப். 107, உரை.) 2.A yōgic posture in which the right leg isplaced over the left thigh, the hands are stretched on the knee and the body is kept erect;வலக்காலை இடது தொடைமேல் வைத்துக் கைகளிரண்டையும் முழந்தாளில் வைத்து நீட்டி உடலைநேர்நிறுத்தும் ஆசனவகை. (திருமந். 560.) 3. Thechief seat in an assembly; சபையின் அக்கிராசனம்.(Tr. M. II, 249.)
