பரசமயகோளரி, s. A name of சம்பந் தர்; also of எம்பெருமானார்.

பரசாதி, s. One of a foreign tribe or nation.

பரசுகம், s. Happiness of heaven.

பரசுகோததி, s. An ocean of spiritual delight; [ex சுகம், et உத்தி.]

பரசையோகம், s. As பரஸ்திரிகமனம்.

பரசொத்து--பரதனம், s. Other goods, property, &c.

பரஸ்தலம், s. Another place.

பரஸ்தலஞ்செய்ய--பரஸ்தலம்பண்ண, inf. To change one's place or abode from superstition, வேற்றிடம்புக, (Old. Dic.)

பரஸ்திரி, s. Another's wife. 2. A courtezan, a prostitute, வேசி.

பரஸ்திரிகமனம்-பரதாரகமனம், s. Adul tery. See கமனம்.

பரஸ்பரம், s. Mutuality, reciprocation.

பரஸ்பரரகசியங்கள், s. Mutual and con fidential secrets.

பரஸ்பரவிரோதம், s. Contrary to each other.

பரதந்திரம், s. At another's command, for another's service--oppos. to சுதந்திரம்.

பரதன்மம், s. Another's duty, or busi ness, occupation of another caste, அன் னியாசாரம். 2. Benefit to others, பிறர்க்குச் செய்யும்நன்மை.

பரதாரம், s. Another's wife as பிறதா ரம்.

பரதிரவியம், s. AS பரசொத்து.

பரதூஷணம், s. Blaspheming another.

பரதேசம், s. A foreign country, foreign residence as பிறதேசம்.

பரதேசம்போக, inf. To go to a foreign country--as a wanderer, exile, religious mendicant, &c. வித்துவானுக்கேதுபரதேசம். What country is foreign to a learned man?

பரதேசவாசி, appel. n. One who has no settled abode.

பரதேசி, s. A foreigner, a traveller, a pilgrim, அன்னியன். 2. A beggar, com monly from a distant part, a stranger --oppos, to அகதேசி, இரப்போன்.

பரநாரிசகோதரன், s. One who behaves to other women as a brother. (R.)

பரபட்சம், s. An opposite party, sect. side, interest, மறுபட்சம். 2. Uncongenial sentiments or doctrines; those of an opposite sect, or heterodoxy, விரோதம்.

பரபுருஷன், s. A paramour, an unlaw ful husband, அந்நியபுருஷன். 2. Vishnu விஷ்ணு.

பரமண்டலம், s. Another region. 2. [in Chris. usage.] Heaven.

பரமதஸ்தர், s. As பரசமயிகள்.

பரமுத்தி, s. supreme bliss.

பரராசசிங்கம், s. One who is as a lion to other kings; also compared to ele phants.

பரராசசேகரன், s. The name of a king. ஓரரசன்.

பரலோகம், s. The other world, heaven. 2. As தேவலோகம்.

பரலோககமனம், s. Death, மரணம்; [ex கமனம், going.]

பரலோககிரியை, s. Ceremonies for the benefit of the dead, உத்தரகிரியை.

பரலோகசாதனம், s. Perseverance in a course of conduct leading to heaven.

பரலோகசௌக்கியம், s. Heavenly bliss.

பரலோகவாசி, s. An inhabitant of heaven.

பரலோகவாழ்வு, s. Enjoyment in heaven.

பரவசம், s. Subjection to another, தன் வசமல்லாமை. 2. Ecstacy, transport of joy, rapture, மிகுகளிப்பு. See ஆனந்தபரவசம். 3. Abstraction of the senses from fear, or sorrow, being paralyzed, மூர்ச்சை. 4. Astonishment, amazement, பிரமை. 5. An oath or promise, பிரமாணிக்கம்.

பரவசமாகுதல்--பரவசப்படுதல், v. noun. Being enraptured, transported, fascinated. 2. Being panic-struck.

பரவசம்சொல்லுதல். Speaking peace ably, giving advice or offering reasons to appease one's anger. 2. Confirming an oath.

பரவணி, s. [prov.] Lineal descent, here ditary succession as பரம்பரை. 2. Gene alogy, வமிசம்.

பரவணித்தொந்தம், s. Hereditary in firmities of temper.

க்கிறது, ந்தது, க்கும், பரக்க, v. n. To spread, to extend, to be diffused, as water, air, odor, epidemics, clouds, or light; to be flattened by hammering, பரம்ப. 2. To be multiplied, to increase, to be propagated, as living creatures; to be numerous, as the varieties of beings; to swarm, to over run, to over-spread, விருத்தியாக. 3. To be disseminated, propagated, peopled, மிக. பரந்துதிரிதல். Wandering about, as a beggar.

பரந்தமுகம், s. [also படர்ந்தமுகம்.] A flat face.

பரந்தவடிவு, s. A flat, plane surface or figure.

பரந்தவட்டம், s. A large cymbal.

பரந்தவட்டிகை, s. The larger hour plate, as சேமக்கலம். (சது.)

பரந்தவர், appel. n. Beggars, wander ing mendicants, இரந்துதிரிவோர்.
