பாட்டன்

pāṭṭṉ   s. [voc. பாட்டா. hon. பாட்ட னார். pl. பாட்டன்மார், பாட்டாக்கள்.] A grand father, மூதாதை. 2. A grand-father's or grand-mother's brother, பாட்டன்முறையான வன். (c.) 3. An ancestor, grand-sire--Of பாட்டன் are அப்பாட்டன், பெரியபாட்டன், great grand-father; முப்பாட்டன், grand-fathers grand-father; நாற்பாட்டன், father of முப் பாட்டன். பாட்டன்பூட்டன்காலத்திலே.
