பிணையல்

piṇaiyal   n. id. 1. Joiningtogether; ஒன்றுசேர்க்கை. தாமரையலரிணைப்பிணையல் (பரிபா. 2, 53). 2. Flower garland;மலர்மாலை. தாதுகு பிணையல் வீசி (சீவக. 463). 3.See பிணைமாடு. 4. Hinge; கதவின் கீல். (W.) 5.Copulation; புணர்ச்சி. 6. (Nāṭya.) Gesture withboth hands. See இணைக்கை. பிண்டியும் பிணையலும் (சிலப். 3, 18).

piṇaiyl  

v. noun. [used substantively.] Brace, couple, pair; two or more cattle, &c., fastened together, இரண்டுமுதலியசேர்ந் தது. 2. A hinge, கதவின்கீல். 3. Garland, or string of beads, மாலை. 4. A garland, or string of beads entwined, பின்னியமாலை. 5. Fastening of a yoke, நுகத்தோடுசேர்த்தல். 6. A negative form of the optative--meaning join not, பிணையாதே.

பிணையலடிக்க--பிணையடிக்க, inf. To tie bullocks in a row together for threshing.

பிணையல்மாடு--பிணைமாடு, s. An ox yoked, or tied to another.-Note. In threshing, five or more are tied together. and driven round in a circle a breast of each other. See கோடியன், and உள்ளான்.
