பூரான்

pūrāṉ   n. 1. Centipede; ஊரும்செந்துவகை. 2. A linemark in the belly of ahorse, considered inauspicious; குதிரை வயிற்றின்கீழ் நீண்டுள்ள தீச்சுழி. (அசுவசா. 22.) 3. Ediblematter in the palmyra stone or coconut formed when the root shoots forth; பனைமுளை. (J.)
