மன்னன்

maṉṉaṉ   n. மன்னு-. 1. King;அரசன். மன்ன னுயிர்த்தே மலர்தலை யுலகம் (புறநா.186). 2. The Universal Lord; எப்பொருட்கு மிறைவன். (பிங்.) 3. Chief; தலைவன். சேனை மன்னர்கள்(கந்தபு. சூர. இரண்டாநாள்யுத். 47). 4. Husband;கணவன். மங்கை யுன்றன் மன்னனுய்ந்து வந்தது(பிரமோத். 111). 5. Man in his prime, betweenthe ages of 32 and 48. See ஆடவன், 3. s. A king, a prince, அரசன்; [pl. மன்னர்.] 2. A man in his prime, or from thirty-two to forty-eight, ஆடவர்பரு வத்தொன்று; [ex மன்.]

மன்னர்பின்னோர், s. [pl.] The வைசியர் caste, including the three classes em ployed in industry and labor-mer chants, agriculturalists, and shepherds.

மன்னர்மன்னவன்--மன்னர்மன்னன்--ம ன்னவர்மன்னன், s. The king Dury'od'hana, துரியோதனன். (சது.) 2. A king of kings, as இராசாதிராசன்.
