முதுகு

s. The back, பின்புறம். (c.) 2. [Tel.] Coarseness, grossness, உரப்பு. அவன்முதுகுப்புண்இன்னமாறவில்லை. The sore on his back is not yet cured.

முதுகுகாட்ட, inf. To turn the back; i. e. to be defeated, or put to flight, புறங்காட்ட.

முதுகுகொடுக்க, inf. To be defeated, புறங்கொடுக்க. 2. [vul.] To help, assist. துணைச்செய்ய.

முதுகுதாங்கி, appel. n. A support to the back, in a palankeen, chair or other piece of furniture, சார்மணை.

முதுகுநீர்ச்சடங்கு, s. A purificatory ceremony of pouring water upon the back of a woman in her first pregnancy. See சீமந்தகலியாணம்.

முதுகுநூல், s. Coarse yarn.

முதுகுப்பிளவை, s. An ulcer or a cancer on the spine, as ராஜபிளவை.

முதுகுமுள்ளணைதசை, s. [in anat.] Semispinalis dorsi.
