முத்தம்

s. Agreeableness, endearment, பிரியம். 2. Lip, உதடு. 3. A kiss, வாயாற்றரு முத்தம்; [from Sa. Mugdha.] (c.) 4. Free dom, விடுகை. 5. A pearl, முத்து. W. p. 663. MUKTA. 6. A posture of the yogi, as முத்தா தனம். (p.) 7. Cultivated ground, மருதநிலம்.

முத்தங்கொஞ்ச--முத்தமிட--முத்தியிட, inf. To kiss. முத்தமிட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள். They kissed one another.

முத்தமாடல்--முத்தாடல், v. noun. Kissing, caressing. (p.)

முத்தர், s. [pl.] Those who have obtain ed liberation from the evils of sin, பக்கு வர். (சது.)

முத்தன், s. One liberated or emancipa ted from evil, an epithet of Vishnu, Siva, and Argha.

முத்தாகலாபம், s. A garland of pearls, as முத்தாரம். (Sa. Muktakalapa.)

முத்தாகாரம், s. Mother of pearl, முத் துச்சிப்பி. (Sa. Muktagara.)

முத்தாதனம், s. A position of a yogi- pressing the anus with the ankle of the left foot, under which is placed the ankle of the right; [ex ஆதனம்.]

முத்தாத்துமா--முத்தான்மா, s. A soul ripe for absorption, so as to pass from the head at death, instead of the மூலா தாரம், முத்திபெற்றோன். [usage.]

முத்தாபலம், s. Pearl, முத்து. (Sa. Muktapala.) 2. The இசங்கு shrub, its fruit resembling a pearl, Monetia.

முத்தாரம், s. Pearls strung on lines or threads.

முத்தாவலி--முத்தாவளி, s. A garland of pearls, முத்துமாலை; [ex ஆவலி, a row.] 2. A book of Sanscrit Logic. 3. A musical mode.
