முருக்கு

s. A kind of tree of rapid growth, used for hedges; Indian coral tree, Muchie-wood, Erythrina Indica, கிஞ் சுகம். (c.) 2. The lemon-tree, Citrus, எலு மிச்சை. 3. Killing, destruction, கொலை. (சது.) --Note. Of the Indian coral tree are three kinds: 1. கலியாணமுருக்கு, the leaves of which are used at weddings, see அரசாணிக்கால்; 2. காட்டுமுருக்கு, or முண்முருக்கு, a wild kind; 3. நரிமுருக்கு, an inferior kind.
