யோக்கியம்

s. Fitness, suitableness, worthiness, eligibility, qualification, தகுதி, 2. Goodness, desert, worthy conduct, con formity to rule; purity; holiness, as of the Vedas, which may not be learnt by un worthy persons, புனிதம். W. p. 689. YOG YA. 5. [in cant.] Hazard, danger, fate, மோசம். இதைசெய்வதுஉனக்குயோக்கியமல்ல, It does not become you to do this. உழவுக்குயோக்கியமானமாடு. An ox fit for ploughing. இராசயோக்கியம். Becoming for a king. பிராமணயோக்கியம். Suitable to a brahman. பிராணயோக்கியம். Risk of life. ப?ாயோக்கியம். Very good! (ironical.)

யோக்கியத்துக்குக்கொடுக்க, inf. To ad vance money, to an honest man upon his character. 2. (R.) To risk one's own money in a ship, &c.

யோக்கியபாத்திரம், s. A decent vessel. 2. [met.] A respectable person.

யோக்கியப்பட்டவன்--யோக்கியமுள்ள வன்--யோக்கியவான், appel. n. An honest man.

யோக்கியர், s. [sing. யோக்கியன்.] Worthy persons. 2. Capable heads. அதற்குஅவன்யோக்கியனல்ல. He is not a proper person for the work.

யோக்கியாசனம், s. A seat or place suitable to one's dignity, யோக்கியமானஇடம்.

யோக்கியாதி, s. [in Hindu astron.] A table giving the equation of the sun's motion, at the rate of a degree for a day, to his true motion for every day in the year.

யோக்கியாயோக்கியம், s. Worthiness and unworthiness; [ex அயோக்கியம்.] யோக்கியாயோக்கியந்தெரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும். One must discriminate worthiness and unworthiness.
