வழூஉ

vaḻūu   n. See வழு. வழூஉச் சொற்கோவலர் (கலித். 106).

வழூஉச்சொற்புணர்த்தல் vaḻūu-c-coṟ-puṇarttal, n. வழூஉ +. Employment of improper or inappropriate words and terms, one often nūṟ-kuṟṟam, q.v.; நூற்குற்றம் பத்தனுள் பிழையுள்ள சொற்றொடர்களை அமைக்குங் குற்றம். (நன்.12.)

வழூஉச்சொல், s. An incorrect word, an objectionable expression, குற்றமான சொல்.

வழூஉச்சொற்புணர்த்தல், v. noun. Em ployment of inappropriate terms. See நூற்குற்றம் under குற்றம்.

வழூஉநிலை, s. Erroneous phraseology, as to gender, number, case, or tense, sanctioned by long usage of the learned --oppos. to வழாநிலை.
