இளக்காரம்

iḷkkārm   s. [vul.] Indulgence, laxity, compliance; mildness, mitigation of punishment, &c., lenity, remission of a duty, tax, payment, &c., relaxation, இளகி யதன்மை. This word is specially appro priate to rational beings. சிறைகளுக்கிளக்காரங்கொடுக்கலாகாது. Slaves are not to be indulged, treated with lenity, &c.
