ஏடா

ēṭā   int. id. An exclamation addressed familiarly to a friend or an inferior தோழன் தாழ்ந்தோன் இவர்களே விளித்தற்கண் வரும்இடைச்சொல். (மணி. 14, 12.)  

ēṭākuṭm   --ஏடாகூடம், s. [vul.] Disrespect, insubordination, stubbornness, perverseness, ஒழுங்கின்மை. (Sans. Hét'a.) ஏடாகூடக்காரனுக்குவழியெங்கே--போகிறவன்றலை மேலே. Where is the path for a self-will ed person? On the heads of fellow passen gers.
