கண்டியூர்

kaṇṭi-y-ūr   n. khaṇḍ. 1. Nameof a town with a Šiva shrine, in the Tanjoredistrict, which commemorates the story ofŠiva's nipping off of one of Brahmā's five heads,one of aṭṭa-vīraṭṭam, q.v.; அட்டவீரட்டங்களுள்ஒன்று.
