தியாகம்

s. Liberality, bounty, gene rosity, உபசரிப்பு. 2. A present, gift, dona tion, கொடை. 3. Leaving, departing from; abandonment, desertion, விடுதல். W. p. 387. TYAGA. (c.) அவரொருவரிடத்திலும்தியாகம்வாங்குகிறதில்லை.... He receives no present from any one.

தியாகங்கூற, inf. To proclaim the name of a donor, as at an exhibition.

தியாகங்கொடுக்க, inf. To give libe rally. 2. To give a present, as to ac tors in a drama, &c.

தியாகமிறைக்க, inf. To give profusely.

தியாகராயர்--தியாகர், s. Siva, as wor shipped at திருவாரூர் and other places, சிவன்.

தியாகன்--தியாகி, s. A liberal giver, a donor, கொடையாளன். 2. A patron, உப காரி. 3. [with appropriate prefixes.] A renouncer, a relinquisher; applicable especially to an ascetic, துறந்தோன்.
