பரசுராமன்

paracu-rāmaṉ   n. parašu-rāma. `Rāma with the axe,' a Brahmin hero,son of Jamadagni and an incarnation of Viṣṇu,who extirpated the whole race of Kṣatriyas fortwenty-one generations; சமதக்கினியின் புத்திரரும்,க்ஷத்திரியர்களை இருபத்தொரு தலைமுறை கருவறுத்தவரும், அந்தண குலத்தவருமான திருமாலவதாரமூர்த்தி.பரசுராமனின் பால் வந்தணுகான் (மணி. 22, 34).
