மிருகம்

மிருககீரம்--மிருகக்ஷீரம், s. The milk of a doe, மான்பால்; [ex கீரம், க்ஷீரம்.]

மிருககுணம்--மிருகத்தனம், s. A brutish disposition, beastliness.

மிருகசஞ்சாரம், s. A place frequented and infested by beasts. 2. Bestiality; beastliness in sexual intercourse; gross indecency, நாணமில்லாப்புணர்ச்சி.

மிருகசண்டாளம், s. Extreme atrocity; gross sinfulness. See சண்டாளம்.

மிருகசாதி, s. The brute creation. 2. Brutish tribe of people.

மிருகசாலிகை, s. A net or snare by which deers are entrapped, மான்வலை.

மிருகசிரம், s. A mode of using the hands in dancing. See கரலட்சணம்.

மிருகசீரிடம்--மிருகசீரிஷம், s. [also மார்கழி.] The fifth lunar mansion con taining three stars in Orion, and figured by an antelope's head, whence its name, ஓர்நட்சத்திரம்; [ex சீர்ஷம், சிரஸ், the head.]

மிருகசீவனன்--மிருகத்தியு, s. A fowler, hunter, வேட்டைக்காரன்.

மிருகசைடகம், s. A pole-cat, wild cat, ஆண்பூனை. (Sa. Mrugachaidaka.)

மிருகதஞ்சகன், s. A dog, நாய்; [ex Sa. Damsaka, who bites.]

மிருகதந்தம், s. Horns, or teeth of hogs, பன்றிமருப்பு.

மிருகதரன், s. Moon, சந்திரன்; [ex தரம்.] See மான்களங்கம்.

மிருகதூர்த்தகன், s. Fox, நரி; [ex தூர்த் தகன், a cheat.]

மிருகநாபி, s. Musk-bag, கஸ்தூரி. 2. The musk-deer [cat], கஸ்தூரிப்பூனை; [ex நாபி, the navel, the musk being formed in a bag near the navel.]

மிருகபதி--மிருகேந்திரன், s. A lion, சிங் கம்; [ex பதி, இந்திரன், lord.] (சது.)

மிருகபந்தினி, s. Nets to ensnare musk deers, மான்வலை; [ex பந்தனம்.]

மிருகபயம், s. Fear or danger of wild beasts.

மிருகபாலிகை, s. Musk-cat, கஸ்தூரிப் பூனை; [ex பாலி, to preserve.]

மிருகமதம், s. Musk, கஸ்தூரி; [ex மதம், the secretion being considered analogous to that from the temples of elephants in rut.] (சது.)
