யுகம்

yukam   n. yuga. 1. Age, æon, along period of time, of which there are four,viz., kiruta-yukam, tirētā-yukam, tuvāpara-yukam, kali-yukam; கிருதயுகம், திரேதாயுகம், துவாபரயுகம், கலியுகம் என்ற நால்வகைப்பட்ட நீடியகாலம். (பிங்.) 2. Pair, couple, brace; இரட்டை.பதயுகத் தொழில்கொடு (கம்பரா. நகரப். 49). 3.Yoke; நுகம். (யாழ். அக.) 4. A measure of fourcubits; நான்கு முழங்கொண்ட அளவு. (யாழ். அக.)
