எழுப்பு-தல்

eḻuppu-   5 v. tr. caus. ofஎழு- 1. To cause or help to rise; toerect, as a building; எழும்பச்செய்தல். 2. Toawake, rouse; துயிலெழுப்புதல். நாளை நானேயெழுப்புவ னென்றலும் (திருவாச. 7, 6). 3. To raisefrom the dead, resuscitate, restore to life; உயிர்பெற்றெழச்செய்தல். மெய்க்குகனெழுப்புதலும் (கந்தபு.திருவிளை. 79). 4. To excite, stimulate, inspire;ஊக்க முண்டாக்குதல். 5. To instigate, agitate; toinflame, as the passions; கலகமுதலியன மூட்டுதல் 6. To raise, as the voice in speaking or singing; to call forth, as melody, from an instrument; ஓசையெழுப்புதல். சங்குக ளெழுப்பிய நாதம்(பாரத. பதினெட். 24).
