கனகம்

கனகக்கொடியோன், s. A name of a king, having a golden banner, See கன்னன். (சது.)

கனகசபை, s. The golden hall, one of the sacred apartments of Chitham bram temple, பொன்னம்பலம்.

கனகதண்டிகை--கனகபல்லக்கு, s. A palankeen studded with gold, பொற் சிவிகை.

கனகதண்டிகைவேந்தர்--கனகபல் லக்குத்துரை, s. A gentleman or king wor thy to ride in a golden palankeen--used by Pariars in flattery.

கனகபரிட்சை, s. Acquaintance with precious metals--one of the sixty four கலைஞானம்.

கனகமாரிபொழிய, inf. To bestow liberally, lit. to rain gold. கனகமாரிபொழிந்ததுபோலே. As bountiful as if it rained gold.

கனகன், s. An Asoor, இரணியன்.

கனகாசலம், s. Mount Meru, மேரு மலை. Wils. p. 186. KANAKACHALA..

கனகாசனம், s. A golden seat, throne, &c., பொன்னாசனம்.

கனகாபிஷேகம், s. Pouring out gold on the head of an idol or otherwise, in imitation of anointing, சொர்னாபிஷேகம். இப்படிச்செய்தாற்கனகாபிஷேகம்பண்ணுவாரா. If I did so, would he shower gold on me?

கனகாமிர்தம், s. Silver.
