s. Propriety, right of pos session, hereditary right, உரிமை. 2. (c.) Land, நிலம். 3. Landed property, estate, possession, காணியாட்சி. 4. A fractional part, the eightieth part, ஓரெண். 5. [in land measure.] Twenty-four grounds, ஓர் நிலவளவு. See மனை. காணிமந்தங்கோடிதுக்கம். The least delay may occasion the greatest sorrow. கைலாயங்காணியாகும். He will obtain Kay lasa as his inheritance.
காணிக்காரன்--காணியாளன் s. A landlord, an owner or proprietor of land, காணியாட்சிக்காரன்.
காணித்தாயம்--காணித்தாயவழக்கு, [prov.] A quarrel between relations about land.
காணித்துண்டு, s. A piece or strip of land.
காணிபூமி, s. One's own land.
காணியாட்சி, s. Hereditary right to land, an estate, a kingdom, &c., hered itary land, one's own possession, காணி யுரிமை.
