சதா

ctā   s. A canoe or other vessel for navigation, மரக்கலம். (சது.) 2. [prov.] Defect in timber, rottenness, decay in fruit, &c., பழுது. (Limited.) 3. [loc.] Delay, procrastination, as of a business, தாமதம். அதைச்சதாவிலேவிடாதே. Do not delay the matter.

catā  

adj. Continual, perpetual, எப்பொ ழுதுமுள்ள. W. p. 886. SAD'A.. சதாகாலமும். Eternally, everlastingly, for ever and ever. சதாஸ்து. Always to thus, Amen, i. e. live long, &c., a term of salutation; [ex அஸ்து, be thus.] (p.)

சதாகதி, s. Air, wind--as the cons tant mover, காற்று. (p.) 2. Perpetual motion, equable motion, மாறாதசலனம்.

சதாசிவம், s. Eternal felicity, முடிவி லாநன்மை. 2. Deity or Siva in the exercise of benevolence towards senti ent beings, the highest of பஞ்சகர்த்தாக்கள்; also the state of Siva, when design ing the salvation of souls before he assumed visible forms for that purpose, சதாசிவத்துவம். சதாசிவன், s. Sadasiva; the first and the highest of the five forms assumed by Siva; [ex சிவம், auspicious.]

சதானந்தம், s. Eternal beatitude, நித் தியானந்தம்.

சதானந்தன், s. The supreme Being, கடவுள். 2. Brahma, பிரமன். 3. The name of a Rishi, ஓர்ரிஷி.
