தப்பிதம்

tappitam   n. id. [T. tappi-tamu, K. tappita, M. tappitam.] 1. Blunder,mistake, error, wrong; தவறு என்ன தப்பிதம்சொன்னேன் (இராமநா. அயோத். 8, சரணம், 16). 2.Evil-doing, deviation from moral rectitude,violation of rule; நெறிதவறுங் குற்றம்  

tappitam   s. a fault, குற்றம்; 2. a mistake, a blunder, an error, தப்பு.

தப்பிதமாய்ச் சொல்ல, to be mistaken in what one says.

தப்பிதத்திலே விழ, -மாட்டிக்கொள்ள, to fall into a sin, to commit a fault.

தப்பிதக்காரன், one who makes blunders.

தப்பிதம் விட, to omit anything in writing, or to make a mistake.
