நுண்

adj. Minute, fine, small, subtile, slender, கூர்மையான. 2. s. A particle, atom. அணு.

நுண்ணறிவு--நுண்ணியஅறிவு, s. Acute understanding, penetration, discrimi nation, acumen, நுட்பபுத்தி.

நுண்ணிச்சிறை, s. [contraction of நுண் ணியசிறை.] The name of a small bird, கொசுக்கட்டைக்குருவி.

நுண்ணிடை--நுண்மருங்குல், s. A slender waist, சிற்றிடை. 2. [met.] A lady, a woman, பெண். (p.)

நுண்ணிமை, s. [vul.] Fineness, minute ness, sharpness, &c., as நுண்மை.

நுண்ணிய, adj. As நுண். நுண்ணியகருமமெண்ணித்துணி. In entering on a delicate affair, reflect well.

நுண்ணியது, appel. n. That which is small, minute or subtile, நுண்மையானது. 2. A skilful contrivance, a thing curi ously wrought, நுட்பவேலை.

நுண்ணியபுத்தி, s. Acute intellect, acu men.

நுண்ணியர், s. [pl.] Persons of acute mind, quick parts, good discrimination, &c., அறிவுடையோர். 2. Ministers of state, மந்திரியர். (p.)

நுண்ணுணர்வு, s. Acute understanding, &c., as நுண்ணறிவு.

நுண்பிண்டி, s. Fine meal. (p.)

நுண்பொடி, s. Fine dust, powder, &c., புழுதி.

நுண்பொருள், s. An abstruse mean ing, occult or mystic matters.

நுண்மணல், s. Fine sand, சிறுமணல்.
