நுழை

s. A small gate requiring per sons to stoop, a wicket, சிறுவாசல். 2. A lattice, a window, பலகணி. 3. Minuteness, fineness, நுண்மை. (சது.) 4. Intellectual acumen, புத்திநுட்பம்.

நுழைகடவை, s. [prov. நுழைபொட்டு.] A narrow passage through a hedge, &c., நுழைவழி.

கிறேன், ந்தேன், வேன், நுழைய, v. a. To creep in through a narrow pas sage; to crawl in, to slip in, to enter--as a rat, புக. 2. To be put in, to be inserted, அகப்பட. 3. To enter one's mind as an author's meaning, &c., புதிய. 4. To side with, profess friendship for with by ends, வஞ்சகமாய்ச்சார. (c.) காதிலேநுழையவில்லையா. Don't you hear me? ஊசித்துளையில்்சரடுநுழையவில்லை. The thread will not go into the eye of the needle. அந்தச்சொல்லென்மனதிலேநுழைந்தது.....That word penetrated my mind.

நுழைநரி, s. A fox which burrows in the ground. See நரி.

நுழைந்துபார்க்க, inf. To peep in or into, to put the head in and look. 2. To penetrate.

நுழைந்துபோக, inf. As நுழை, 1. 2. To force through a crowd.

நுழைவாசல்--நுழைவாயில், s. A low or small gate.

க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. To cause to enter, to put or thrust in, to insert, உட்செலுத்த. (c.)

நுழைத்துவைக்க, inf. To fix in a hole, &c., [sometimes நுழைவிக்க.]
