ātīṉam   * n. adhīna. 1. Ownership, possession; உரிமை எல்லாம் அவன் ஆதீனமே. 2. Dependence; வசம் யாருடைய ஆதீனத்திலிருக்கிறாய்? 3. ātīṉam   prop. அதீனம் s. proprietor. ship, authority, power, property, வசம்; 2. a religious establishment, a convent, மடம் as திருவாவடுதுறை ஆதீனம், தருமபுர ஆதீனம், 3. dependence சார்பு; 4. care, protection.

அது எனக்கு ஆதீனம், that is my own, in my power.

ஆதீனக்காரன், ஆதீனகர்த்தன், an owner, a proprietor.

சுயாதீனன், சுவாதீனன், one that is his own master, a freeman.

தெய்வாதீனம், God's disposal and direction, providence.

பராதீன மாக்க, to alienate.

பராதீனன், one that serves under another.
