உடைமை

s. Property, possess ing, having, owning, உரிமை. 2. The thing possessed, property, possessions, movable property, உரியவை. 3. Jewels, ornaments, ஆபரணம். 4. Wealth, riches, opulence, செ ல்வம். In the first meaning it is often in classical language affixed to other words. உடைமையுளின்மைவிருந்தோம்பலோம்பாமடமை... Poor in the midst of wealth are they who ignorantly neglect the duties of hospitality. (குறள்.) கல்வியுடைமைபொருளுடைமையென்றிரண்டுசெல் வமுஞ்செல்வமெனப்படும். The two posses sions, viz.: knowledge and wealth are possessions indeed. (நீதிநெ.)

உடைமைக்காரன்--உடைமையாள ன், s. A proprietor, possessor, an owner. 2. An opulent person.

அன்புடைமை, s. Love, affection, kind-heartedness.

அறிவுடைமை, s. The possession of knowledge, knowledge.

அருளுடைமை, s. Grace, benevo lence.
