க்கிறேன், ந்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, v. a. and n. To mix, commix, intermix, mingle, blend, combine, join, unite, com pound, incorporate, amalgamate, கூட்ட. 2. To adulterate, debase, dilute, கலப்பாக்க. 3. To mix in friendship, hold intercourse, to be intimate, to associate with, be kind, to commune, ஒற்றுமையுற. 4. To form mar riage or other alliances, சம்பந்தங்கலக்க. 5. To copulate, cohabit, புணர. To mingle in battle as opposing armies, to come to close combat, போர்கலக்க, 7. To coalesce, join--as flame, &c.; to become absorbed--as the soul in the deity; to flow together, combine--as sounds; to unite --as vowel sounds in forming diphthongs, &c., சேர 8. (p.) To sound inarticulate ly. எழுத்தின்றியொலிக்க. மனங்கலந்தநட்போர். Intimate friends. நல்லுறவிலேநஞ்சுகலந்தது. Poison is mixed with intimate friendship.

கலந்துகட்டிப்பரிமாற, inf. To mix promiscuously in a feast without refer ence to caste, rank, &c. 2. To use or naments or other property in common.

உறவுகலக்க, inf. To intermarry in new families.

கலப்பிடம், s. Mixture.

கலப்பில்லாதபால், s. Unadulterat ed milk.

கலப்பில்லாதபொன், s. Pure gold.

இரத்தக்கலப்பு, s. Consanguinity, affinity.

சம்பந்தக்கலப்பு, s. Marriage al liance.

சாதிக்கலப்பு, s. Intermarriage of different castes.

தானியக்கலப்பு, s. The mixture of the nine kinds of grain, நவதானியக்க லப்பு.

கலவைச்சேறு, s. A compound odoriferous ointment.

கலவைத்தசை, s. Complex muscle.

கலப்பிக்க, inf. [causative of கலக்க.] To cause to mix, to distribute, கலக்கச் செய்ய.

அன்னசாரத்தைக்கலப்பிக்க, inf. To distribute or diffuse the essence of the food or chyle through the blood vessels --as the office of the வியானவாயு, See வாயு.
