சத்திரம்

s. An alms--house where food is given to travellers, brahmans, mendi cants, &c.; a A choultry, அன்னசாலை. (c.)< 2. A sacrifice,--especially an oblation on the field of battle, to secure the aid of the goddess of victory, யாகம். W. p. 884. SATTRA. 3.
