நரிக்குழி, --வளை, a fox-hole.

நரிக்கொம்பு, small budlike horns in a jackal, of rare occurrence -- said to be very efficacious in magic. அவனிடத்தில் நரிக்கொம்பிருக்கிறது, (lit.) he has with him a jackal's horn; he fascinates.

Can a well be fathomed with the tail of a jackal? இவனுக்குஅவன்நரிகாட்டுகிறான். He acts the fox toward him. எங்கும்நரிஓடுகிறது. It is over-run with jackals, i. e. desolate. நரிநிறமாயிருக்கிறான். He is shy, insincere.

நரிக்காய்ச்சி, s. [prov.] A palmyra tree bearing fruit of a dim colour, ஓர்வ கைப்பனை.
