The two species of gold of Swerga, regarded as possessing life, and yielding whatever in desired, are சங்கநிதி, gold in the form of a chank; பதுமநிதி, gold resembling a lotus. The nine gems of Swerga are: 1. பதுமம், lotus-like. 2. மகாபதுமம், major lotus-like; 3. சங்கம், chank-like; 4. மகரம், sword-fish-like; 5. கச்சபம், tortoise-like; 6. முகுந்தம், a gem resembling quicksilver; 7. நந்தம, the gem of felicity; 8. நீலம், blue lotus-like gem.

நிதிக்கிழவன்--நிதிக்கோன்--நிதிபதி- நிதியோன், s. Kuvera, as lord of riches.

நிதிசாஸ்திரம், s. A system of metallurgy, embracing rules for discovering what has been buried, ஓர்சாஸ்திரம்.
