பழையகருமாந்தரம் paḻaiya-karumān-taram, n. பழைய +. An ancient funeral ceremony among Koṇṭaiyaṅkōṭṭai Maṟavar in whichthe skull of a person who died an unnaturaldeath is exhumed and certain rites are perfor-med with dancing, etc.; பண்டைக்காலத்தில்கொண்டையங்கோட்டை மறவருள் துன்மரணமடைந்தவனது மண்டையோட்டைப் புதைகுழியினின்று எடுத்து,கூத்து முதலியவற்றுடன் அவன்பொருட்டுச் செய்யுஞ்சாச்சடங்கு.
