ஓம்

s. The mystic name of the deity, prefacing and concluding all the prayers or incantations of the daily wor ship, commencing books, &c., from அ, a name of vishnu; உ, of Siva, and ம் of Brahma, embracing therefore the Indian Triad, and expressing the three in one, பிர ணவம். 2. An expression of assent, a term used in bonds, agreements, &c., as show ing the assent of the contracting party, ஓருடன்பாட்டுச்சொல். 3.
