சங்கை

There is no doubt of it. அவன் ஆளும் சங்கையுமாய்விட்டான். He is mighty and venerable.

சங்கைநிவர்த்தி, s. Removal of doubt.

சங்கைதெளிய, inf. To remove--as doubts. (p.)

சங்கிக்க, inf. v. n. To doubt, hesitate, ஐயப்பட. 2. To fear, dread, அஞ்ச. 3. v. a. [prov.] To honor, esteem, rever ence, மதிக்க. 4. (Rott.) To inquire into a thing, விசாரிக்க.

சங்கைகெட, inf. To be disgraced, to lose reputation.

சங்கைக்கேடு--சங்கையீனம், s. Dis grace, dishonor.

சங்கைத்தாழ்ச்சி, s. [prov.] A bad reputation, disrepute.

சங்கைவான்--சங்கைமான், s. A res pectable man. (c.)

சங்கைபோந்தவர், s. An honorable man. (p.)

சங்கையில்லாமை, s. (neg.) Destitution of honor. 2. (p.) Immensity, infinity, incalculableness, ஏராளம்.
