திவா

s. Day-time, as distinguished from night--as திவம், பகல்.

திவாகரம், s. An ancient poetic lexi con, still in use, ஓர்நூல்.

திவாகரன், s. The author of this book, திவாகரஞ்செய்தவன். 2. The sun, being of the day, சூரியன்.

திவாகீர்த்தி, s. A barber, அம்பட்டன். 2. One of an impure caste, சண்டாளன்.

திவாந்தம், s. An owl, that which is blind by day, கூகை.

திவாமானம், s. Day-time, length of the day from sunrise to sunset.

திவார்த்தம், s. Half of the day-time, பக லிற்பாதி. 2. Noon or mid-day, மத்தியானம்.

திவாராத்திரம்--திவாராத்திரி, s. Day and night, இரவும்பகலும்.

திவேச்சுரன், s. One of the twelve suns, so called, துவாதசாதித்தரிலொருவன்.
