கோட்டி

kōṭṭi   n. prob. கோட்டு-. 1.Trouble, vexation, annoyance; துன்பம் (W.)2. Insanity, madness; பைத்தியம் காமக்கோட்டியால் மனங்கூசினேன் (இராமநா. உயுத். 41). 3. [T.kōḍigamu, M. kōṭṭi.] Pleasantry, jest, joke,mimicry; பகிடி Loc. 4. See கோட்டாலை, 2.  

kōṭṭi   n. gōṣṭhī. 1. Assemblyof learned or respectable persons; சபை தோமறுகோட்டியும் (மணி. 1, 43). 2. Multitude, collection, class; கூட்டம் (பிங்.) 3. Speech or utterance, as in an assembly; பேச்சு வீரக்கோட்டிபேசுவார் (கம்பரா. மாயாசனகப். 13). 4. Companyor association, as of a person; ஒருவரோடு கூடியிருக்கை. தன்றுணைவி கோட்டியினி னீங்கி (சீவக.1035).
