கோணை

kōṇai   n. கோணு-. 1. Curvature; வளைவு 2. Crookedness; கோணல் 3.Severity, cruelty; கொடுமை (அக. நி ) 4. Difficulty, trouble; உபத்திரவம் கோணை பெரிதுடைத்தெம் பெம்மானைக் கூறுதலே (திவ். திருவாய். 2, 5, 10).5. Strength; வலிமை கோணை யிருங்குண்டை(அஷ்டப். திருவேங். மா 58).

கோணைக்கத்தி, a crooked knife.

கோணைக் கழுத்தன், one who has a crooked neck.

கோணைப் பேச்சு, irregular speech; 2. foreign language.

கோணை மாதம், December, மார்கழி, பீடைமாதம்.

கோணையெயில், a strong indestructible rampart.

கோணைவாயன், (fem. -வாய்ச்சி) a person with a writhed or distorted mouth.
