இறுதி

iṟuti   n. இறு¹-. 1. Termination,end; முடிவு (பிங்.) 2. Death, extinction; அழிவு உயிர்க்கிறுதி யாகி விடும் (குறள், 476). 3. Limit,bound; வரையறை இறுதி யில்லதோர் விலங்கு (கந்தபு. அசுரர்தோற். 29).  

நிலை   n. இறுதி +. 1.That which occurs in the end; ending; இறுதியில். நிற்பது. (கலித். 124, உரை. பக். 778.) 2.(Gram.) Termination, ending of a word; விகுதி.(நன். 134, சங்கர.)

iṟuti   s. (இறு) end, death, மரணம்; 2. the ending or termination of a word. case or tense, விகுதி; 3. limit, bound, வரையறை.

இன்றிறுதியாகச் செய்யேன், henceforth I will do it no more.

இறுதிக் கடிதம், ultimatum.

இறுதிக்காலம், time of death; end of all things, ஊழிக்காலம்.

இறுதியில் இன்பம், (இறுதி+இல்+இன் பம்) everlasting bliss, மோட்சசுகம்.
